Craig Hammond Leaves Royston Town

Recommended Posts

Krafty - Here's the article, AFC Sudbury must think all their Christmas's have come at once, watch them move up the Zamaretto Midlands League like grease lightening:

I wonder whether Craig considered going back to Garden Walk which would have guaranteed Royston the Championship this season but I suppose Histon had the final say

Keeps - Yes you are right and with John Beck also leaving recently it would appear that Histon are a Club very much in decline:

  • 3 weeks later...

I see that Craig Hammond scored an amazing 14 minute second half hat trick for AFC Sudbury against Aylesbury United yesterday, I expect Histon will be calling him back early from his loan spell at the King's Marsh Stadium as they could only scrape a 3-3 home draw with lowly Hayes & Yeading

Interesting that Charlie Sherringham has joined Histon on a months loan. Once Craig Hammond returns shortly from his own loan spell at AFC Sudbury I'm sure it could be the making of a great partnership and if Charlie's dad comes to watch him play he could well recommend Craig to a Premiership Club

Sorry folks, I forgot to attach the link from the Non League Today Website, enjoy. Like I said if Teddy Sheringham claps eyes on Craig Hammond he could well be at Old Trafford before the end of this season.

I'd recommend Craig to go to Bolton or Blackburn if he wants to go north or Portsmouth / Fulham in the south.

You can usually pay on the day for all of these unless they are playing against the "big 4" :discobanana:
