Rhodes
I see that Craig Hammond's transfer is all over the Royston Crow like a rash, a four figure fee is mentioned which I expect is far closer to
Rhodes
I hope you're all sitting down folks. Craig Hammond scored after just 12 minutes of his bow for Histon this evening at the Abbey Stadium in the prestigious Cambs Professional Cup Final with an instinctive shot that looped over the Cambridge United keeper. The remainder of the first period was like the Alamo and Histon could have quite easily gone in at the break three or four goals to the good with Hammond rampant. The home side equalised on 70 minutes however Histon regained the lead 10 minutes from time through Josh Simpson and they held on to take the cup back to nearby Bridge Road in front of a disappointing crowd of 886. Rhodes
I thought I would take the liberty of posting a link to the Histon Fans Forum on their Website and clearly the Club's faithful are already shaking their heads in disbelief at securing Hammond's services. I had forgotton that John Beck is the supremo at Bridge Road and Hammond is very much his type of player in the Dion Dublin mould: http://histonfootball.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=chat&action=display&thread=1159

Rhodes
GAFFA1 - Thanks, I think that just about says it all, unfortunately you haven't been privileged to watch Hammond play but think of Daniel Sabaroche's qualities and times them by a few hundred. LATO - Perhaps that's the wrong impression I give out, it's certainly not my intention, why on earth would I be interested in 'points scoring', that's Football Man and Keeps game not mine. I'll pass on your good wished to Craig Hammond when the dust settles a bit, right now he is a bit overwhelmed by all the attention he's getting.
