What is it about this bloke that makes him such a high paid thought after player.I have watched him play for sweden,juventus,inter etc etc and never ever been impressed with him,he reminds me of adebayor.Only turns up when it suits him,in fact i have seen adebayor play better than i ever have ibrahimovic.What has he actually done that barca have made him their highest paid player and until ronaldo went to madrid he was the highest paid player in the world.I just don't rate him!!!

Agree Rob. One of those players who blows hot and cold.

 

On his day, he is a class player but he only seems to produce the goods when he is in the mood.

 

I remember watching an Inter Milan game a few seasons back when Inter needed a victory to win the league. It was 0-0 at half time and Ibrahimovic came on at half time and although not fully fit, he completely changed the game and won the match for them.

 

He did nothing for most of the Euros last summer but then scored a brilliant goal against Greece.

 

A player capable of brilliance but rarely proiduces it often enough to justify a high transfer fee and his ridiculously high wage.

Totally agree with rob IMO he is the sweedish Adebayor and only turns up when it suits him ive seen him play in Serie A and sometimes he can come of the bench or start and i think he can be a quality player but for 1 example i seen play against United in the champs league and he was absoloute toilet.

And as for Carlton cole this season is an important 1 for him if he can carry on his form from last season he might be knocking on the door for Capellos squad come 2010.

Just proves the point that England lack any talented players now & will not win anything till they limit the amount of non-English players in English football.
