Harrow Game

Recommended Posts

Lost 4-0 after it seemingly turned into a training session at the Polish Club this afternoon.

What could be Bateman's first choice defence had to cope with a lack of support from the people in front of them and Harrow scored 4 second half goals.

First half we looked ok and created a few half chances while containing Harrow but in the second half we didnt really create much and they just pushed us out of the way.

Report now online www.sloughtownfc.net

I personally don't like pre-season - roll on the proper stuff.

Although we got stuffed in the end I though first-half was bright and Tyron Sealy (even though he scored an OG) is a good player to come back into the squad.

This will sound a bit funny after losing 4-0 but with a number of players to come back I think we'll be alright. We really missed the class that Kean, Edgeworth and Herron offer us in midfield. Only really worrying position for me is up front, which Bateman has said he's looking at.

It looked fine till the break when some changes were made and an early goal made it look rather poor in the end.

I whole heartedly agree that players keep being away and we haven't had a full side yet to have a game with isn't ideal, but as I've said before... we'll be fine, don't worry!

Just look who was missing and will probably be in the starting 11

the likes of Kean,Edgeworth,Harper,Jordan & Heron will surely make a big difference, as was said earlier the 1st half was very solid against a so clled premier side

Expect us to be much better then last year as Steve knows a lot about the sides in this league. I really hope we can challenge for the play offs as it would give everyone at the club a much needed lift, compared to the complete dross we have had to put up with over the last 3 seasons.

not having the full squad in friendlies is frustrating but there is no point of being annoyed too much about the defeat on Saturday as we had a lot missing the strength of the side is much better than what we saw. also 2nd half mostly 1st teamers of Harrow were playing i heard compared to the first half where we were matching them
