Agree it was a fun afternoon and I reckon it must have helped Brian to decide who he wants to keep. You would think the cut has to be made fairly soon.

 

The "Blues" back four seemed much better balanced today than in previous games imo and I thought both the "new" trialists did well.

I thought the whites played very well and defended well against what looks like to be Brians starting 11 other than maybe a few positions!! I thought both back 4's looked very strong and organised today. which is why the game did not really have many clear cut chances at all.

 

Good work out for the team and helps Brian to get his mind set for who he wants to keep for the season. 2 more friendlies arranged which is always good!

It was a very good run-out for both teams, with both teams producing some good football, and the game was kept very tight with some good defending from both sides.

 

I think the centre-back partnership between Cousins and Bradley Thomas was good today, probably the best partnership I have seen so far so it will be interesting if we keep him. I thought Spencer Knight done well also producing some good crosses.

I thought the whites keeper did really well today, it was his 1st game and he made a great save from the pen! i also agree that both back 4s played really well, they kept it very tight, but i thought overall the whites defense just pipped it as they had to keep 3 quality strikers out for 60 minutes!

Was a entertaining game. I also liked the new centre back who looked composed. There seemed to be much more talking on the pitch which (imo) you can never have enough of. So, good game and start of season drawing closer.
