That's why I think we could have done without these two games. The onus was on the result rather than looking at new players. We only have two friendlies left now (assuming a scratch team will be going to Deal).

Slightly bizarre to discover there was no cup for the winners today - first time I can recall going to a cup final with no cup. Since Ramsgate were the last winners maybe they know what happened to the trophy ?

I think those in glass houses shouldnt throw stone. Both sides put in some unnessasary challanges in and as for the pen 10 points for the dive. But glad no one got sent off from either team as both have small squads and could do with the players being available at the start of the season.

As for the challenges check the card count, has your no.4 got anything other than kicking people, didn't look like it from what i saw.

keeper never had a save to make in the first game, not sure what you were watching!!!

We'll our goal in the first game not withstanding i remember a least 2 point blank saves and the diving one hander in the second half, maybe you should try watching both ends of the pitch!!!

I think a brief summing up of the game would be that Rams were the better team in the 1st half and could have been 3-1 up,but we were better in the second half.I thought it was a decent workmanlike performance by Margate and Terry and Nev are getting a team together that should be mid table at least.Ramsgate should be good enough to get back to the Prem and good luck to them in doing so.We missed out big time in not getting Sam Jones because he looked a very good player and I doubt that Rams wlii be able to keep hold of him for next season.
