Yes Bommie both signed last Tuesday. Also signed Sean James from AFC Hayes, Millerick from Cove, Luke Taylor from Cobham, Shorty from Badshot Lea and a few of last years Under 18s have made the step up after impressing pre season.

 

On the way out have been Liam Stone and Joe Johnson to Chertsey.

 

Looking forward to what should be a very interesting season in a league that gets stronger each season.

 

Not sure why they lost the ground but I think they have arranged a groundshare at Cobham for the season from what they were saying Saturday.

Isn't the keeper Jack Turner? He played for us a few times and is definitely one to watch in pro-football in future. Comes from a good football family too and at AFC is in the best possible hands.

Think the 9 was James Hennessey, an ex top scorer for our Reserves and looked promising for our First Team but perhaps wasn't quite ready 2 seasons ago, looks like he's pushing on nicely now under Marcus Gayle, I'd recommend to most CCL Premier sides.

Yep, Jack Turner. Was he on loan with you last season? James at no.9 did look useful, one to keep an eye on.

It all seems to be very complicated at the moment with certain clubs and the local authority all involved.

As I understand it speaking to a contact within Mole Valley District Council, Leatherhead have merged with Predators and formed Leatherhead Predators therfore taking over the lease. They have refused MVSCR the use of the pitch even though the Predators management had previously signed an agreement with MVSCR.

Unfortunately in football as in other areas of life some people have more than one face.

Very true. No honesty or respect in local football, it seems.
