lost 1 -0. very young side. They were playing Fleet Leisure, a Kent county team, Fl were a good side, big lads, 5 or 6 years older on average, hard, and had a guy with a missile throw in.

The game was played in 3-1/2 segments. After a nervy 20 Min's the lads settled down and gave as good as they got. Shane Brown hit the post.

The Fleet goal should have been disallowed as the Fleet forward went to ground in the area and scooped the ball with is arm into the path of the scorer.

0-0 would have been a fair result. I was impressed with the players considering this was their first game, against Fleets 7Th.

All in all it was a good work out for the Lads.

I could name a few that stood out but, as i am unsure of names as yet i will not do so.

I will say we have a couple who should be pushing for 1st team by the end of the season.

PS,

Allowing for the difference in size, after the first 20 Min's the lads competed for every header. I do not think they gave away a free one for the rest of the game

didn't stay long last night as i had to work.

Few trialists on show, I believe we had another keeper,"Paul Sodje" and a guy playing at the back for the under 18's.

I believe it was 5 or 6 nil to ressies.

Saying that the under 18's must be4 very young as the Ressies have a lot under 18's in there number.
