Leverstock Green game

Doesn't that apply to all football fans though? I could of sworn a minority of Windsor fans turned on that lad from Thatcham after less than half a dozen games for the club last season? Even when a team plays well and wins there are always peopel who say "why couldn't we have played like that against x/or all season."

I can't comment otherwise on this thread because I have not been to a single pre-season game. Can't really be bothered with them. They are fairly meaningless and coincide with the summer and school holidays when lots of people are unavailable.

Agree with pretty much what you just said... It is however sad that fans even at this level expect instant success. At Windsor we've had a side slowly come together over 3 years now each time improving step by step. This is only possible with a bit of space and time allowed by the club, fans and other players in my view

I'll still defend Vine good player wrong system in my view! However i think i was one of the few! I still defend Simon Lane for his abilty to buy quality BUT bringing in quality is only a small party of having success

i think there is no need to worry and jump to conclusions of us struggling before we have seen anything. yes we need the players to play together more but a lot of them have at least played together before so at least its not a total disaster should we not get much more practice in. pre-season form quite often does not match start of league season form anyway at any level

I agree until slough get back in the conference the fans will always be moaning as they have no paitence, too much expectation, they will moan and moan and moan, will have bateman out if they are not top by xmas, just like sweetman before they want sucess NOW NOW NOW, we on the other hand are realists and know it takes time, we have been there or there abouts improving but this season presure will be on scottie...

An interesting fantasy post.

The last 3 seasons have all been relegation struggles, and in 2 of them we didn't even manage to struggle that much. Fertile grond for being less than happy for any sides fans. If South Slough fans had 2 relegations and a relegation fight in 3 years, there would be none of you left, so stop sh*t stiring.

On a more positive and fraternal note, I thank you for your opinion that we will get back into the Conference.

I'm assuming you mean the away attendances? Because there is no reason why the home attendances would be affected by moving sideways into the Midlands league.
I'm pretty sure we can pride ourselves on having pretty good away support given the club's record over the last couple of years, so there's no reason why that would suddenly stop now we have to travel in a different direction. I will certainly be going to every away game that I get the chance to go to.

Loyalty was questioned by Ted,please read all the posts.

like everyone else i.e the hardcore that would support their club despite the league they play in.

I can see the level of brain activity on her is limited.

As an 'anon' is it just a bit of jeasoulsy on Windsor's part with their bigger neighbours moving leagues? Slough won't suffer a drop in attendance with the likes of Chesham, Hitchin, Aylesbury and Bromsgove but Windsor will suffer with the loss of a big crowd vs Slough and all those long trips to Devon to look forward to.

Very much looking forward to the longer trips actually! Rather go to Devon than the Midlands. Personaly i'd of liked to of gone to the midlands. There is only so many times you can visit AFC Hayes!! Not jealous whats so ever. Plenty of room for both clubs to have success!

Stop claiming your bigger mind! You sound like Newcastle fans who think attendance= club size!

windsor fans are only on here because they have nothing to say on theirs, they only ever have 2/3 people commenting on their game, you only have to look at the pics they have of each game, no action involved just pics or random rubbish.

get of this site & try to liven up your
