Yep, funny game. We dominated play most of the first half and concede a Sunday league goal and there second was a stunner, but could have been 5-2 ahead first-half.

Second-half they were slightly the better side with Dean Sinclair scoring our goal. Several players missing again. Full report to follow tomorrow.

Why have most friendlies so far been played with loads of players missing? Surely the idea of pre-season is to get players fitness levels up and understand what team and formation we want to play?

What's happened so far is that we'll start the season with players who haven't played together or at all. Seems a bit strange to me. Do we have these players or not?

That's the slightly worrying thing for me. Yes it is pre-season but i'd say from next Saturday we need to establish a team in the last few pre-season games. At the moment it seems to be like shift work with several players missing one week, then they return and then several others miss the next!

Yes it is pre-season and they are P/T players but it would be nice to see a more consistent team.

Worst thing to come out of of today, aside from the loss, was the injury to Harper who went off and was struggling to walk afterwards. Looked like he will be out for few weeks.

It was an odd game though because defending aside, Slough dominated and bar some luck and quality goalkeeping could have easily won the game. It has got to the point though where the 1st 11 needs to be playing, at the half way point we are still to have 2 signed players making an appearance and missing a steady keeper.

attacking wise i was not too disapointed we created a fair bit just the finishing wasn't there though there was a lot of unlucky moments in their goal area. tbh how we did not win i do not know but fair play Camberley perhaps rode their luck a bit defensively but attacked very well against our makeshift defence.

Dean Sinclair played about 4 positions in the match and still found time to score. shock sub John Lawford actually did a fairly good job after Harper had to go off. hopefully Harper is not too injured but in Jackman and Smith we have some quality when available. i assume a few were stuck in traffic and gave up but don't know. the baldish guy in midfield looked pretty useful for us i thought. also Jemal did a decent job and was unlucky on the 1st goal

Have to agree Slough if they had taken their chances should probably have won the game, however they did'nt and so therefore it was a good win for Cambo who had a few first teamers missing, overall entertaining psf. played in the right

spirit.

I actually was quite impressed with Danny Murphy yesterday. He only played a half but I though he did well. If we do play 4-4-2 him and Herron could made a decent combination down the left if we sign him up with Fenton to come back after injury.
