Surprise there's not been one comment about the fixtures!!

 

No stand out fixture in the Prem on day 1. Probably Cobham v Eversley in Div 1 as a battle of the new boys.

 

Do we know where Croydon Municipal play yet, or who they are even?

i believe they are croydon from the reserve division last year - or have i got that wrong ?

Well someone said they were Croydon reserves and someone else said they were Croydon Athletic reserves and I don't think it was ever clarified.

They are the old Croydon FC Reserve side which was playing in the CCL reserve League last season and according to the new CCL handbook for this coming season, they will be playing at the Croydon Arena along with Croydon FC

so whose the new croydon reserve side that will play in the reserve division and where do they play

As far as I'm aware, Croydon Municipal are indeed our reserve side from last season, who have broken away from the main club, and formed their own club. I think they're more or less a representative side from the Croydon Municipal League (maybe Croydon Sunday league?) or soemthing like that. They never seemed to have much to do with the first team last season.

 

The fact that both Croydon and Croydon Municipal are listed in the reserve division is a surprise to me! And I have no idea where either will be playing. I was under the impression that we (Croydon) weren't bothering with a reserve side this season, but I may be wrong on that

Any idea what Eversley are like or what league they came from (Surrey Elite I assume) as never come across them before.

Trevor: I'm out of circulation as far as attending matches is concerned.

 

As far as I'm informed, we are still playing pre-season friendlies at Brockham until further notice.
