Smallsy - there a few sides who will be stronger this year than last. I expect Burnham, Barking, B'side all to do better, maybe Stansted aswell.

 

Bethnal Green will be decent.....any idea on Witham??

Witham will be decent. Picked up a few more Ryman North players from Maldon and will definitely be up there.

 

Agree with regards to Tiptree. They will be strong, but will they fancy Clapton, APSA, Mauritius away?

i agree there are a few other teams in with a decent shout. i think the standard of the league is going to be a lot better than the last couple of years. last year the standard was pretty poor. going to be a tough league to get out of.

 

no money at burnham, management working wonders just to get 11 players on the pitch at the beginning of the season. wouldnt worry about us.

Gaffa1,Smallsy with his pulling power has attracted some of the best ESL players to Leslie Field and regarding money....that will be pulled out at Christmas!!!!

It's amazing how some ESL teams are good at hiding the fact they do pay expenses...some teams can even get rid of the committee with their voting power!!!hi Fenny

Silencer he wasn't Nick but someone from a Ridgeons team with a similar name.Tiptree,Enfield,Witham,Takeley,Barkingside,Southend Manor,Burnham Ramblers,Eton Manor top 8 methinks.I bet our league chairman is looking forward to it and hopefully we can do justice to our League with some teams having good FA Vase and FA Cup runs.

that top eight is spot on with BGU about 12th that would do me, well we can all dream, But i agree burnham will be there or there abouts, but for me the two teams to watch out for who could even challenge for the league is stansted and Eaton manor.

Where God's will wants us to be...We'll have to sort ourselves out first,making sure we have fully committed to the cause players and not part-timers skipping training like at beginning of season last year.We are under no illusion,no money,no ressies,no good catchment area slim youth team squad,tougher league,no links to a Ryman prem club and we'll have to dig in again,relying on our team spirit and ability to overcome difficulties.In other words we'll have to pull our fingers out..
