Tiptree are the big boys this year and have'nt been shy in terms of setting their targets - then you have Enfield and Bowers!! Said that all summer.

I agree with Gaffa though, I can see this league being the most competitive for a long time, there are potentially ten - twelve clubs who are aiming for the top 6!!

And with your new covered standing enclosure in addition to the present seating now on site, Southchurch Park will not be a no go area anymore when the rain sweeps in from the Estuary in mid-winter !

I can see Eton Manor and BGU doing very well this year with the players they have brought in. BGU have stepped up and brought in players who have played in or above the ESL. Manor have also brought in some well established players as well. Knowing a few people at Barking they have some very good players over there, one or two big names who they haven't revealed yet. They have also made a hugh effort with the ground.

I agree that this year, more than the last 6/7 years I have known the ESL, will be very competitive. I can only see Mauritus and Apsa being the weak sides and now Dullbridge have a new manager I doubt they will be down there. All the other sides bar those with the cash are very evenly matched. It will come down to who can get off to a good start and get a run going. I also think the cups will be secondary to most sides so maybe a few surprises there.

I think this year will probably be the most competitive for a long time.
