Former Rebel Quits As Manager

"Division One South club Molesey were stunned this week when manager Ian Hazel handed in his resignation just three months after taking over at Walton Road. The former Tooting & Mitcham United manager rescued the club from almost certain relegation and expectations were high that he would lead them to a much healthier position next season. Chairman Norman Clark was surprised and furious at the decision and said "I don't have any idea why Ian made this decision. We met with him last week for a three-hour meeting where we discussed the budget, his wages and new players. I thought he was committed to the club only for him to ring me a few days later and tell me he didn't want to carry on.""

Paving a way for a return to Slough Town???
