For the second season running I saw the visitors take the honours in a match in memory of the former Barking chairman who sadly died in 2004.

The win was not by as big a margin as last summer's game, although the visitors were once again deserving of their win. Barking were a better side than they were last summer. I admit that I thought that Redbridge would win by a bigger margin and when they took the lead I thought they would go onto win more comfortably. The home side did push forward, but were not much of a threat other than that.
Redbridge could have won by more, but squandered other chances.

Saw a few regular faces here and bumped into an old friend from the days when I watched Barking on a semi regular basis.

2. Boywonder is injured at the moment.

 

3. Brentwood is a very good team who I tip to get promoted this season.

Sorry to hear about Boywonders injury...i assume by his lack of recent posts it is an index finger problem.....very nasty, especially as he was just coming into form on here.

Re the wrong information of result...yes, it should be correct, but you have to take into account who posted it. After all, he is a leading light in Jenkos gimp xi.

Bemused...it aint the index finger mate, i give you one more guess and a clue,it's the the finger i use to point at fekkers that get too excited on here mate and there's a lot maybe that's why its [****!!****].

 

The boy's did me proud, considering its the first game and only been a week into pre season and 5 key player's who would have started wasnt available.
