Thanks for letting us know, Hoddesdon must be rubbing their hands at that news as they go to Potton United in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup. See you on 8 August.

the game against cockfosters was played at the maypole sports and social club in harlow as the pitch has been done we will be playing are first game on the pitch there on the 1st of august against royston. as of the ground the 2 smalls stands on the dug out side just need covered and the main stand should be finished for the season and the footing have been done for a new comity room that should be finished soon.

Takeley Tractor Boy - I see you are playing at Bisham Abbey tomorrow. What were Cockfosters like on Tuesday evening, you will find Royston Town a different proposition on 1 August particularly their centre forward.

A comprehensive report on this one from last Tuesday in the Herts Advertiser, I can't see Jonathan Donoghue's name mentioned anywhere:

He was on the pitch for the Hitchin Town friendly but it could be argued he didn't play!

LATO - You were up early this morning, any reason for that. I was struggling to load a new picture last night that's all and gave up the ghost, I just clicked on anything in frustration and didn't even know the avatar was Hednesford Town, thanks for informing me. Will you be attending a pre-season game today, there are plenty to choose from in your area.

Zezi - From what I heard on the grapevine it was a spellbinding display against a strong North Greenford United outfit, Gino Sufi with a brace, Dan Owen, Jesse Reynolds and Captain fantastic Tim Maynard were amongst the goalscorers. I bet eyebrows are being raised at Holloways Park as we speak, will you be at the Beaconsfield SYCOB game on Tuesday.

I know this isn't SSML related but Southill Alexander won 2-0 at Basildon United this afternoon, David Morbin got both goals.

A few results in so far from this afternoon's action, Colney Heath played a Watford Youth XI and not Cheshunt, God knows how many Jonathan Donoghue scored:

Langford 3 Stansted 1
London Colney 1 Eton Manor 1
Pitstone & Ivinghoe 2 Holmer Green 0
Tokyngton Manor 6 North Greenford Utd 1
Cranfield United 1 Chesham United 4
Colney Heath 8 Watford Youth XI 0
