In addition to the above last night, Hatfield Town drew 1-1 with Wodson Park at Sherrardswood School in Welwyn Garden City and Hadley hosted Baldock Town Letchworth at the HDSA Sportsground in Arkley with Baldock winning 1-0:

Samos - What I meant earlier was that Southill Alexander must have breathed a sigh of relief last night following the heavy 7-2 defeat at Cheshunt on Saturday, you read far too much into my posts.

Yes I have known the Assistant Coach for many years and was instrumental in getting him the job at the Carlsberg Stadium, he's a great asset to the Club.

I have received a report from two people who were on the field of play last night at Cotlandswick, both say that London Colney could well have been five or six goals to the good at the break had it not been for the Southill Alexander goalkeeper.

Richard193 - I don't know whether you were at Cotlandswick in a trench coat and fedora spying on Southill Alexander for Saturday's game at Basildon but, according to one of my two sources of information, London Colney had two chances cleared off the line and the inspired keeper made a number of stunning saves with the defence all at sea. The second period was a different kettle of fish with Southill Alexander much improved however by all accounts London Colney should have been home and hosed at half time.
