Where was your pre-season friendly against Cockfosters played?

I drive past your ground once a week and nothing seems to have progressed for a while now (after a flurry of activity), including the pitch not being cut. The skeletons of structures have been there for a bit of time now but apparantly no work on them?

Sal - A Step 6 Club beating a Step 7 Club is a shock, or certainly a surprise, in my book. Yes Cotlandswick is a nice place, had you been there before.

Yes I meant Step 7 beating Step 6 or do Southill Alexander play at Step 8, somebody suggested that on the another Forum recently

Sal - I didn't say that Southill Alexander played at Step 8 but doubt was put into my mind by someone on another's Forum and by NeutralFan who said that I had got my Steps mixed up. Congratulations to all concerned on last nights victory, you must have breathed a sigh of relief.

Samos - What has happened to the invitation to dine at your restaurant, I was trying to work out where exactly you are situated, is the eaterie on the same side of the road as the Disney's furniture store and Iceland or opposite.

what has happened to you answering my questions Rhodesy?

and your reference to moussaka being so insulting is probably why zants and me have gone a bit lukewarm at the mo on your invite.

I have received a report from two people who were on the field of play last night at Cotlandswick, both say that London Colney could well have been five or six goals to the good at the break had it not been for the Southill Alexander goalkeeper. As it was London Colney took the lead in the first half with the Bishops levelling just before half time very much against the run of play from a fine solo effort. Southill Alexander's defence was a lot tighter after the break and they were able to keep the hosts at bay whilst scoring on the counter attack for a surprise win.

Bollox was it a counter attack ! doh It was the best move of the match that started from the back & involved at least 5 players.
Funny that Cliff, did they mention our 1st half penalty miss, a couple of free kicks that went close in the 2nd half & a 25 yard shot that cannoned off the crossbar ?
True Colney, did have chances in the 1st half, but not 5 or 6 though anyway we had chances also. It was a good friendly, both sides tried to play football, but I think we edged it & the scoreline reflects that.

London Colney were quick on the break but by no means had a major share control of the game. They took one chamce well, a lightweight back pass to the SA goalkeeper, they missed a couple of sitters, thats football. SA skied a penalty. The SA lads kept the ball and moved it around well and made the most of their chances hitting the crossbar with a long range volley and some close efforts at set plays. Colneys goalkeeper was kept just as busy.

God, it must hurt your ego Rhodesy not to be celebrating a SA loss but we all know that you are just a bitter little man who lives your life as a feeble harpie.

I think you are shooting the messenger, I'm only passing on what I was told and wasn't aware Southill Alexander missed a first half penalty. One of the guys did say you would probably be too good for Step 7 this season.
