To be fair it was a Premier Division Club just relegated from Step 4, probably at full strength, against a Step 6 Reserve side playing their first game together as a team with just twelve players. At half time it was very respectable.

FOR INFO - hope I've got this right after all the nasty things I said about Tok M & the Avenue Sports Ground earlier today wink

... on the subject of PSFs vs Hampton & Richmond - I couldn't find mention of the forthcoming fixture @ Tok Manor scheduled for this Tue (4th) on the Beavers' (H&R) website?

It was added to the NL Forum PSF section some time ago and I was checking for any info re venue.

It DOES appear on Tok M's Home page as 'Next Fixture'

Digging a bit deeper I finally found this on the H&R Forum's Reserve Section:-

04/08/09 - Away Vs Tokyngton Manor FC - 7.30pm

to be played at Viking Sports Ground, Western Avenue Park, Perivale, Greenford UB6 8GA

And for the other HBFC, losing 7-0 at home to Northwood.
That will raise a smile in the KTFC camp.

I hear on the grapevine that Tiktok Manor had a bad day at the office as well, conceding 13 goals in two games.

Keeps - Yes but you should know that's exactly what pre-season and pre-season friendly matches are for in order to iron out any problems before curtain call, it's the same in most walks of life. It wouldn't have mattered if we had conceded fifty goals yesterday as long as it's alright on the night next Saturday, or should I say at 3.00pm.

So for everyone else its poor results, or in some cases, according to you, shock results.....but for Tiktok Manor its a chance to iron out problems!
Well going by your results yesterday you have plenty of creases.

Keeps - We were fully expecting that result at Creasey Park yesterday, it was a damage limitation exercise as we did Dunstable Town a huge favour by going there at short notice after Hampton & Richmond had unceremoniously let them down at the eleventh, sorry twelfth, hour. As for the game at Tring Corinthians it was like a Cup Final to them and, fair play, they threw the kitchen sink at us but it was the perfect run out ahead of next Saturday. How has Bowers & Pitsea's pre-season been going, I heard the 2-0 home defeat to Leyton wasn't too encouraging.
