Misa do all they can to help the club the differance is MFC don`t do much if anything to help themselves . On fri 17th of July we are up against a league 1 outfit and if this was a cup match it would be the biggest game we have played since Cardiff if im right . I have seen nothing around advertising the game anywhere , even though its a friendly the club should be doing more to attract a big crowd for this one as looking at our cup draws this could be our only big game of the season as we have to very hard cup games to contend with .hopefully though we can go onto futher rounds in the cup but the club itself should be doing a whole lot more to bring people in to this game .

This is a very important time for the club and the only thing they have advertised is the share issue in the local for

Home crowds v Carlisle, Grays, Ramsgate and Ashford should be about 350, 300, 250 and 200 respectively. 1,100 in total, which, when you add in bar takings and consider wages aren't paid until the league season starts, should be enough to raise most of the 10K outstanding of the 25K.

we should have 600 at least for the Carlisle game and at least 300 for the Grays game minimum but what annoys me is we say all these ideas on hear and some are good yet nothing is done . People from the club look in on this site so they should take note of what could be done and i think if they did take some of the things we say on board then more people would be involved which means more money coming in which is what they want .

Its all very well estimating income from friendlies but we still have to pay the players and other officials so dont think this will help. Quite right about friday, League club at the gate and where is the media coverage or signage, we seem to shoot ourselvs in the foot at every turn. I would be surprised if there were more than about 250-300

Hi all, I have emailed the paper again asking them to promote the games this weekend. It should be in Friday's gazette so fresh in peoples minds for the games friday evening and saturday afternoon. Tell your friends, families. Has the club put up the fixture on the front boards yet? Not sure as I havent been past recently. Might be an idea to contact the local radio and tv stations too to get them to run something? I could try if you want?

I have emailed Heart FM's news desk and will let you know if i have a response. Even if they just mentioned in on air it will help!

As an aside, the very fact we are playing on a Friday night will be interesting. Off the top of my head I can't recall a Friday night game at Hartsdown in recent years. Will we get a few people coming along who work/play football on Saturdays, or usually watch a London club? If so, it might be worth repeating for a league game.
