Can someone please tell me if there are any new signings this season apart from Lloyd Blackman? Lloyd is a great addition but we need to add to the squad.

Lewis Smith is another new signing. As for this sprinter I know someone turned up towards end of last season to train with team but I dont know if it is same one.

All is speculation until signings are confirmed on the official club website. However, Terry has confirmed that the players back for re-season training have a familiar look to them with one or two exceptions - both in and out.

Don't forget, one of the reasons we have pre-season friendlies is to allow the coaching team to run the rule over potential new sigings. So don't expect many confirmed new sigings until we're well into the pre-season campaign.

What I would add is that there seem to me to be a number of different types of links between a player and a club. There's "linked with", "spoken to", "discussing terms", "registered with", "agreed terms", and "signed". We'll confirm "sigings" on the official website.

I think the sprinter is Jonathan Silman. He went to my university and told my friend he was going for pre season with Margate. Also said he's an amazing footballer - proper lightning!

I think Lewis Smith will be a good addition!

That's a bit harsh on Leon, Geoff. In 2 Conference seasons for us he was our top scorer, with 16 League goals and 10 League goals respectively. For a part timer in the top division of non-league football that's a pretty good record.

And as Leon demonstrated, pace can make up for a lot of other stuff at this level.
