Billericay Town Membership

For the coming season, the club is introducing a two tier membership in order to introduce further benefits and to raise funds.

The new higher tier will be a Gold Membership. This will include all the benefits of standard membership but will also introduce a monthly draw of which the prize package is:-

Well done to who ever came up with the gold membership idea.

I know i won't be able to make all the home games each season (I do try honest) so a season ticket would not be of much use to me, Whilst the gold membership (IMO) is a nice happy medium and still means i get to support the club.

The committee discussed the possibility for a junior tier but thought that the present membership was sufficiant for the present. I would certainly welcome any ideas.

Just for the record, the two tier membership was an idea of a member of the BTSA (not committee) and as proven, was taken up.

As to the popularity of the new Gold membership, even though it is early days, we have had a 30% take up of the total (new and renewal) membership to date, which is certainly a result in my opinion. I hope many more take up the option.

Just for the record, last seasons membership was about 50% of our average gate, without any "big ticket" games last season. We would be looking to increase that number this season.

Could someone clarify what benefits "Gold Membership" offers petential members, other than those lucky enough to win the monthly prize draw. Gazza's initial post in this thread only mentions those benefits included in the monthly prize, unless I've misunderstood.

I think the way this was "sold" at the BTSA AGM was very much that it was a fund raiser for the Club rather than something that would offer "gold members" spectacular returns. The way I'm looking at it is that I'm essentially giving the Club an extra

Apologies, my mishshtake. Reading BB's post I thought it was some sort of "mini" season ticket/discounted admission scheme. As a fund-raiser it sounds like a neat idea.

How about having an online version of the matchday programmes that can be downloaded via the website and in order to download the programme, fans who wish to do so have to pay what they'd be expected to pay for one at the ground on matchdays.

This gives more options to the fans some may like it on the computer because they can zoom in on articles etc that they would struggle to read in its normal size or font. This is exspanding our target market because some may just not have time to get one at a match each week and will think that this is a good way of meeting there needs and they could earn just the extra smidgen of money for the club.

well thats a rough idea of what we could do.

That's actually a extremely good idea!!! For us abroad fans this would be a dream!

I expect that the programme is made in pdf or something? So it would be no hazzle to put it up for download, and I would be more than willing to subscribe to a online programme!!!
