For those who are interested, here is this years prize money. As stated last week it shows how important a good cup run could be for us. If we even reached the fourth qual round we would be well on the way to clearing half our debt. I know it was said that we only have 12 weeks and the money is not paid until we get knocked out but at least it would be money in the bank the further we go and so more likely for someone to even loan the money.

Tough draws in both cup competitions. Although both achievable (would probably say Wealdstone away is the more difficult of the two), it will be a tough ask. Surely we can't go out at the first hurdle of every cup competition again..... can we?

Tough tough draw ,and as you say the money is so important.

 

Thats why many clubs speculate a bit and 'invest in players in early part of season; and then once out of the cups-release/try and transfer them.

Not a nice approach, but understandable.

 

My understanding re:the money was that it accumulated whilst remaining in the competion and then you were paid out when eventually 'knocked out'.
