I cant be bothered sodding around answering various queries from sh1t stirrers and trouble makers on here but i would just like to confirm that Basildon United's Manager for the 2009/10 season is Jody Pervwell.

i can hardly be held responsible for what people have heard, the manager is jody who has assembled a strong squad which we hope will be challenging for another top 6 finish and we are looking forward to long and successful runs in both the FA Cup and Vase.

Richard193 I for one are not holding you responsible - I thought the whole point of these forums was to discuss stories, rumours etc

Good luck to Jody & Doug on completing the things you mentioned above - will be a tough season for everyone in the ESL trying to compete for one promotion slot with how I see it at least 8 teams in with a good chance

That was me. I'm the manager of the

Basildon

Army

Standing

Together

Against

Racial

Discrimination

and I needed some new blood for our shove ha'penny beachwear challenge this season.

My right hand man would have done it but he couldn't be bothered as he's a right B.A.S.T.A.R.D.

Obviously Moneybags Tiptree, Enfield, Stansted, Bowers, Burnham, Southend Manor, Eton Manor & Barking

Takeley I feel may struggle a bit this season as they have lost the surprise package factor, which could play into BGU's hands.

All in all should be one of the most interesting seasons in the ESL

Guest MOB on the rock

Hullbridge, no chance!

My money will be on Burnham followed by Tiptree.

I heard Bas had a new manager all the way over here on the island, the guy I heard got the job approached a goalie I know.

takeley have at least five signings from higher levels this year so i don't think the suprise element will come into it.

whoever finishes above tiptree will will win the league.

bethnal green will be a good addition to the league. the bottom four will be mauritius, apsa, sawbo, and dullbridge.

Lets have an ESL side have a good run in the vase
