I would say that donating to Misa is a great idea. Lets face we are not likely to see a return from these shares however if MISA had mor of a say in running the club then i'm all for it. Thats where my money will be going I suspect(come on pay day) !!!

i was thinking about doing a sponsored swim. as my dad is on the misa comitee i can put it to them to see if we could do this as an event or just see how many people want to do it x

why not see if any local bands who are looking for some publicity would be willing to play for free ive done this before in teh clubhouse when misa ran it and it was very successful

Any updates on how its going? Was confident until I saw the lad with the collection bucket on Monday.. Isn't it September 12th that we need to be sorted by?

Iris, I haven't heard anything official however am led to believe that things will be okay. The lad with the bucket asked if he could do the collection as he has supported and been coming to watch the Gate since he was one. It was his way of doing his little bit to help enure the Club he loves is saved.

Applaud him for that. I'm also glad (potentially), as I thought it'd be sod's law to buy some shares in a company and never get to vote at an AGM!

 

Tongue in cheek, there were points on Monday when the taxman would've got the biggest cheer of the day by turning up with some padlocks!!

I think we're already safe, but it's been kept quiet... Basically, we had no money to bring in players all summer, and now suddenly Nicholls, Lawrence, Bernard and West all appear on the scene. Money must have come from somewhere...

That's just my opinion, btw, I may be wrong...

It's just a shame that this player investment has not produced dividends in the last two games.
Lets hope the team performance improves to justify this investment.
No one will continually invest if there is no return.

again you cant judge a season on the first few games. I hope everything is sorted out now but it would be nice if the supporters would be told if we still had a club to support.

Have already made my contribution and am looking foward to the AGM and the Treasurers report should be interesting reading!!
