New Club for 2010-11

There will be a new club applying to join the EOL for the 2010-11 season, we tried to apply for 09-10 but couldn't due to us "forming" in late March, just before the deadline for new clubs.

 

Basically, we want to set up a brand new team for the EOL and are primarily looking at being based in North Weald but have back up plans to look into Harlow and even Loughton.

 

North Weald Bassett, is a small village and is ideal to become a home to a Football club, the village is three miles away from Epping underground station on the Central Line and just 2 miles from Harlow and the M25.

 

Although North Weald is home to approximately 6,100 people, it is easily accesible to many more via public transport strecthing out to Brentwood in the East and Loughton in the West through buses and the motorway links.

 

We are in discussion with a number of areas in the village and local area regarding a ground.

what r u going to be called cos there is a team called north weald that play in the bishop stortford league they play at eppings ground r u anything to do with them

Did you know that many years ago, South Weald were drawn against Manchester United in the FA Cup, but lost a replay and missed out on a famous day. Anyone know where they used to play?
