I looked at the Maidstone Forom, was Dovers best player last year, and as i said a major coup, i expect it might come down to money.

Maidstone United joint manager Lloyd Hume is hopeful of signing former Dover and Gillingham midfielder Alan Pouton.

 

The Ryman Premier League side held talks with the central midfielder this week. Pouton, who came out of retirement to sign for Andy Hessenthaler

Teriffic player, a real boss of the midfield, will need careful mangement to keep him fit though, he was rotated with Keister quite often. In his day as good as anyone I have seen at Dover.

I thought Poulton left Dover because of work/travel commitments-so would be amazed to seehim end up at margate-would be delighted if he did though !
