New ground at Biggleswade United

Visitors to Biggleswade United this season won't recognise the place following a major makeover during the closed season. The hedgerow has gone and has been replaced with a 200 spectator stand. The ground is now fully enclosed with turnstile entrance and the dugouts and old stand have had a facelift.

 

A new first and reserve team manager has been appointed.

 

Our reserves will be playing in the Bedfordshire County League Premier Division having moved from the SML Reserves.

TJ - called in to see the ground last Saturday afternoon - most impressed! Now there's a decent ground actuaslly IN Biggleswade!

No more having to run a mile for the ball behind the goal anymore. Difficult enough to get over the railings these days!!

Nice stand, but the rest looks like you'll be playing in one of those shipping containers !

Unfortunately, this must due to the regulations set bt those blooming ground graders.

It's no Copthall is it Rhodes ?
