So Miss Brahms and Mrs Slocombe both died within a short time of each other during 2009, who would have thought that when we were watching them in their heyday at Grace Brothers

She passed away in the Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford after quite a long illness.

 

She lived just south of Dorking in Ockley then moved to Forest Green. Many's the time in the past we rubbed shoulders in Waitrose or the post-office in Doking High Street. She usually had her actor husband in tow, and I MEAN in tow. He was William Moore - Timothy Lumsden's, (Ronnie Corbett) dad in that great BBC comedy, 'Sorry !'

 

Mollie was the proud owner of a Porsche Carrera which she rarely drove above 50 m.p.h.

 

How I loved her 'Pussy' innuendos in 'Are You Being Served ?'
