Despite managing to raise over half the money required to settle the debt to HMRC, Margate Football Club has only been given 12 more weeks, by the court, to settle the balance of the amount outstanding.

This means that the Directors still have a mammoth task ahead of them, in not only raising this money but also sufficient money to fund a squad to bring us success this coming Season.

Up the Gate!

I have to agree with SSS on this one and thats a 1st . Weather Terry is here or someone else BGA you have to say to yourself at the end of the day that it has damaged any chances of us getting the players in that TY will be looking for .

The only good thing to come out of it is we are still afloat for the time being and if we stay around to start the season then what sort of player will be left .

Going onto the PSF and paying more i would gladly pay

The tone of the statement seems to suggest the club thought they could get away with not paying the debt in full.

Given that the first winding up order on this matter was two years ago, the courts have given us every opportunity to pay. 12 weeks is very lenient treatment. People need to swallow their pride and use that period to build bridges with former directors.

I totally agree with you Coffin ender. There is only one man who can sort this out and its gonna take some serious appologies to get him back. Fingers crossed that this does happen for the sake of those long suffering and dedicated supporters.
