Could not agree more TC.
In my opinion the season turned good for us once Shavineo came back.
His passion was infectious both with the players and the supporters.
I know he has not had a great fan base at New Lodge but you have to give the guy credit for turning things around.
I just hope he is appreciated more where ever he ends up.

Also he was to only player to bother turning out for the recent Family Day at New Lodge.

Good Luck Shavesy

No disrepect to Paul, he came in and did a fine job for us at a time when we were in very real danger of getting dragged into a relegation scrap. He may not, however, be as effective if we are to entertain ambitions of pushing up towards the other end of the table.

I would have thought the reason a lot of players have left was obvious: we had a crap season and we've got a new manager.

I liked Paul Shave 'BUT' is he good enough to get into Brian's new look side (not sure what it is yet!) and as simon pointed out we're looking this season to finish either top or in the play offs and players with Paul's limitations are probably best of at B/wood, we need players that want to be at Billericay and play with their heart on their sleeve, i think Brian will get the best out of the new squad and this year will be a good one!!

Oh the tension, this close season...

Will they...won't they...I'm on the edge of my seat just speculating who is staying and who isn't. Cliff Hanging stuff (apologies to the fans and supporters of Harry Webb).

But in all seriousness...it is what it is. Who ever turns out for the club, there is little or nothing the majority can do...except of course support who is there. And if you turn up tomorrow, you'll be able to see for yourselves.

Lee Hodges & Paul Shave both played each and every game with their hearts on their sleeve's & both at a MUCH reduced price i might add.
(does it show that I'm a fan of these two) evil

Still looking forward to having a beer tomorrow night and seeing the new faces at New Lodge

Let's hope they sing to you like we did:-) Bet they wont!

As well as a great footballer, Shavesy is such a nice guy and one that would always socialise in the bar afterwards, finding the time to talk to fans which meant a lot to me.

Good luck Shavineo!
