New User - Hello eveyone!!

Good evening to everyone. Today has been a historical day for me as I have been connected up to Broadband (I must be one of the last household's in Western Europe to get web access)........but i can now post my thoughts on Town related subjects and other stuff on here.

 

Firstly, I have been a fan of Enfield FC from my first game at Southbury Road on 12th December 1987 against Welling United in the GMVC <Unfortunetly due to age I missed the real glory glory days of the 80's)but after watching EFC thrash Welling 1-0 I was hooked. Later on that season I always remember driving around the A406 to Wembley as a 10 year old waiving my blue and white flag out of my dad's gold cortina...

Thanks for those kind words. I'm glad others seem to be enjoying the exercise as much as I am. Because of the angle of the sun, I normally shot looking away from the main stand unless it was a particularly overcast day. That said, the latest batch does include a few views of the stand.

At the current rate of progress I expect to reach 1995 in about four years' time.

Under 21's were disappointing, poor discipline in the earlier rounds, and playing DJ when there was no need to (he then got sent off) seemed a strange decision. Both cost us dearly

 

Walcott showed his true worth, can sprint, but shame he doesn't know what to do with the ball, otherwise he'd be a good athlete.
