Found out today from Joseba that Aaron Lacy has been signed by Walton and Hersham.

 

Am guessing he was one of the players who might have been asking for more monies???

Aaron Lacy has indeed joined Walton & Hersham. I don't actually think he is that big of a loss if I be honest, I think the only thing we'll miss is his long throw. Can be easily replaced IMO.

He's a decent player and will do a good job for Walton. But how many goals came from his long throws?

The novelty soon wore off. A dangerous weapon, but not one we could fully utilise, considering we didn't have a 'target man'. If we are completely honest, would he have got into the team without said 'weapon'? Wish him all the best though.

I got the feeling Curtis Robinson developed a decent long throw himself toward the end of the season so still an option for us. All the best to Aaron at W & H apart from v Margate!

Not a huge loss but he did give as an option not sure we utilised it very well though, but good luck to him

I hate to think what his wages are like as he has dropped down to Ryman South, or was that just specualtion that he wanted more money to sign ?

Thats a shame, but as Margate Don says, yes Curtis was really starting to shine towards the end of the season and lets hope that he continues to be!

 

Cant wait til the pre-season friendlies - been too quiet with nowt to do on a Saturday afternoon!
