Two weeks until our first friendly v Southend United.
My first programme and it will probably be our biggest gate of the season! doah

there is a bloke well known in SSML circles, cant remember his name but Gaffa1 knows him, who does a bumper 84 pager made out of A4 paper
its great if you like reading the previous 6 mths match reports every week, and items lifted off other teams programmes
he normally does 80 for teams with an average att of 25 so i reckon he will have a few spare copies for your perusal!

Morning all, thanks for the replies.

I like some of the banter on here!

I have actually been using MS Word, which seems to have bad press with some people. I use Word practically every day at work and I have found it easy to use with the Programme production. Setting up templates is indeed the way to go and I would like to think i've got most of it ready i'm just getting butterflies as the first game approaches.

Enfield and someone from Hullbridge seemed to take umbrage at my efforts so I'm afraid I would be of no use whatsoever.

I agree that LPP and co have become a little stale but my pearls of editorship stay with me and my last programme has been published unless there are some tasty offers out there. grin

Jeez, I see that R193 is offering masterclasses in programme production and content etc., and he's never produced one yet!! doh It ain't as easy as it seems fella.

already produced 5 programmes for the friendly matches, i use microsoft word, its hardy rocket science, your programmre was the best ive ever seen at step 5 and its that standard i would strive to acheive unfortunately at the moment i have no guaranteed printer,no information concerning adverts and no say so on production costs.

it could end up that we produce a 24 page publication with adverts or alternatively it could be a single sheet of A4 with four pages.
