GETTING IN

Trying to remember the suggestion by a fan from the AGM, it was that if a tenner was offered for admission, the turnstiles should offer a pound change or a voucher for a share as a way of shifting shares to raise money for the Club.

The suggestion was made on the basis that many supporters wouldn't miss the change to buy shares one or two at a time, whereas if they had to buy them in multiples of 100 or more they'd be reluctant to participate. Don't think it was ever intended as compulsory 'extra' at the entrance.

KP said he'd consider the suggestion, but personally I'd have thought it'd be an administrative nightmare to sell shares in such small numbers.

"If our expectations are a team 15% better than last year-is it not fair to pay 12% more to enjoy"

Who is going to be the first to say that logic only works if you get a rebate at the end of the season when your team has performed worse than the previous season?

Oh dear - it was me!
