Long story cut short, was in the Youth Team/Reserves at Arsenal and Ipswich, capped internationally at Under 15 level, trialled at Crystal Palace, played at Chesham and Hornchurch among about 10 other clubs on his ever increasingly downwards spiral from Premier League to Senior League, , and now playing for the giants of world football Bethnal Green United....

 

So to sum up, an over-rated wash-up who got found out...

 

Journeyman at 25, future looks bright...

 

Or not...

 

 

The rate this guy has dropped down the ranks he should be playing for Shrimperzone Fc in the Scpotre Sunday Division 64.8 in about 6 months time...

Bit harsh GB. I think some of it is also tongue in cheek.

 

I think him and some of the other new posters have brought the forum back to life and it's been funny lately with some good banter and no posts that cause offense.

 

I would say at least his experinced life at the top of the tree. Not many have. I say good luck to him.

true true, well said, but that is not the full story, theres something called injuries and bad attitude and bad luck, i have had them all, i lost motivation, gave up the game and only playing now to do a good friend a favour. but those that aint been there have the most talk, ok jose mourinho.

quality son, when we first started in the esl with woodford the great tony mercer described us as a pub side, but we turned the corner and brought everyone down to our level and may i say with the exception of a few sides our heritage still remains excited

yes i played with ben and stuart at ipswich, both good lads.

that's football mate, [****!!****] happens, i did not want it enough plus there was the politics and injuries.

I gave up football just doing a good mate a favour and playing with friends. I could easily player higher.
