Only three weeks now...

...until our first home friendly. A balmy summers night at New Lodge with Swallows chasing low flying insects above the green-sward. Trout jumping at May Fly in a nearby stream. The sound of leather on willow carried on the warm evening breeze from the Cricket Nets and the smell of barbecues mingling with the taste of a cool summers ale. The laughing, happy spectators arriving on foot in short-sleeved shirts and summer dresses, telling tales of Ibizan beaches and Tuscan wines. Bronze limbs and sun bleached hair replacing scarves and wooly hats.

 

Of course, it will probably p!ss down...

And it would be helpful if we could have some volunteers to help this Saturday to help us get the club ready for the coming season.
