Rudi has served well, I agree, but the club has also given him the platform and privelage to play for us, it works both ways.

Its hard sometimes to end a long playing carreer at a single club, but I think Rudi's level has been no higher than Ryman North Div 1 and to be fair he has been part of teams that have taken us as far as he/they can.

So I echo ST, bring on the new'ens and lets hope we have a decent season.

Dont disagree about "the heart of the club" or maintaining its ethos, but maybe the time is right for some adaptions, as it certainly has not been successful over the last couple of seasons

If, and its a big if, now is the time to push onwards and hopefully upwards, then hard decisions need to be made.

So Rudi moves on, no the first big name this summer to move, and I'm sure Ronaldo will get on fine at his new club too!!!

Possibly but not wholeheartedly agree.

What you need is a sound dominating manager that gets the players and fans (yep even you lot) enthused of playing for the Town, consistency in team selections and hopefully serving us for a long period of time.

By having George Borg on board it will have someone who has the board, fans and players deep in his heart, and that can rub off onto the players, hopefully better or more successful ones than last season.

Rudi is up there with Brad Brotherton, Andy Hall,& David Allen, the very best our club has put on the field over the years we've been together. ( Yes ive missed a few )

There is no doubt in my mind that Rudi signing on is another big boost to Enfield Town FC
