Smoking in cars

Recommended Posts

You're not wrong. I once watched woman crash into a phone box, I ran over to help her out of the car and asked her what happened, she said the top had come off of her cigarette and had gone down her top, causing her to lose control.

As a smoker and out and out rebel, I'm not going to comment apart from......

Pubs closing one after another due to lack of revenue, (even before the current financial climate).

Pub share prices going through the floor. (Punch Taverns on the verge of bankruptcy).

Stopping people smoking in cars won't help their children coz they'll still smoke in front of them at home.

Smoking to be banned in private cars? What next?

1. The NHS spends many millions treating sexually related diseases

2. The NHS spends more than a few bob treating dog bites?

3. The NHS spends many (many) millions treating people ill due them being grossly overweight

4. Sports injuries have long been a major spend item for the NHS

And so on and on, take your pick which item this control freak mob will look to ban next

Not for much longer. The next step is to make it illegal to smoke indoors if there are children in the building at all AND if you have guests who object to smoking. In one move the powers that be will destroy the maxim "an Englishman's home is his castle."

It is estimated that if everyone in the country gave up smoking for a year the government would be forced to increase income tax by 6p in the pound. And the first people who would moan would be those "do gooders" who want to force everyone to give up smoking.

By the way, I don't smoke. But if others want to then I say thank you for potentially giving up your life so that I pay less taxes.

I'll look forwrd to see the face of the person five minutes after he'd knocked on my front door and told me I couldn't smoke in my house coz my grand-children were present !

It'd also be very bad luck for him, coz the food at East Surrey Hospital ain't that grand, so I'm reliably informed !
