We've heard about some of the new signings but do we actually know what players from last seasons squad have signed on the dotted line for next season?

reading i don't think any of last seasons squad have yet been confirmed from what was said on the new signings press release all we do know is who has been released and who have left to do other things, i think steve is waiting for the training and pre season to start to see who best fits in then go on from there.

I can understand, at the very least, Steve would have got verbal commitments from the players but I would have thought he would have got the players he brought in i.e. Sinclair, Keane, Sweeney and Sealey to sign forms by now.

Yes, but don't forget that Herron 'signed forms' for Hemel (and this was announced on their website). Now who has he joined?

Matt, all I'm saying is I can see no reason why Bateman would not want to re-sign the players he brought in last year because they are quality players so why not put pen to paper unless there underlying reason why they haven't.

 

I'm not saying announce that they have signed like Hemel did with Herron when they actually haven't.

I just don't see the panic. There's no doubt in my mind that Steve will have invited back key players from last season to pre-season training with a view to using them in friendlies. Who those players are remains to be seen, so let's wait and see. Verbal commitments or the signing of forms still means very little as it's only mid-June.

i think thatthat steve no's what he is doing and it couldn't get any worse then last season could it players he had he said give them a chance to express thereselfs but half done that but the other half didn't thats the half he will get rid off and i heard that harps has gone and left the club aswell and gone to other club in the spartan league i wounder who i can't wait to play againts slough in the hillingdon tournament has a slough supporter for a long time i can't wait im looking forward to it and chopper has gone to maidenhead

My Becca said that Glen Harris is teaching at Slough Grammar. I expect he was actually after a different school but got confused between Basildon and Berkshire.

people you need to realise that the way glen left and the way ian hodge left the club was diiferent because when chopper left us with memeries of him scoreing the winner in the fa cup all that hodgey left us with was a dirty big bill remember that .

No. When Chopper left it was all about his job taking him to Essex, and wanting to move to a club nearer to Essex. Geography was not his strong point and so he moved to Hampton.

 

I had no ill-feeling to Hodgey leaving. For him it was always about money, and Hampton offered him more. End of.

dean must be keeping hes options open then coz he was training with us sat afternoon , i bet players come on here and see that ur slagging the players off and i wounder that thay would stay or not?
