end of the day people need get behind the team when thay are not doing so good aswell has when thay r doing good thats what i mean?

with all the below par performances we have witnessed in the last 3 or 4 years tbh the support is surprisingly good i think in terms of the fans getting behind the players. think thats what the anon was saying towards the end. i don't particular dislike Harris but not sure he is as good as he once was anymore

If Chopper really wants to play for Slough that much, he knows the clubs number and can always ring Steve Bateman and ask about coming down for pre-season.

Where the heck is this thread going? Steve is getting in quality signings, we do not need to hark back to players who were once here and then left, for whatever reason. I am more hopefull now than I have been 3 weeks into June for about 12 years. I think local players will get a chance under Steve. Last year we used quite a few of the youth team, all local. Roy's local. Fans are second to none for numbers in the area, and further afield. Look forward not backwards. Cynic in me reckons at least one anon is a footballer angling after a place.

he wont come bk where supporters stab players in the back ,i wouldn't and i been a slough supporter for 26yrs and i hear it behind the goal most games talking bout players its wrong people forget wot those players who come and left us for wot reason just remember that coz not all but some people slag them off its wrong end of the day its the managements fault and some of it is the supporters fault y would players want to stay if fans turn againts them

Do not understand a word of what you are saying! A full stop or comma here or there might make it easier, but somehow I doubt it! Supporters here are fairer than loads I've heard elsewhere. If players try, they get support, even if they are having a bad game. Stick only comes when players who have decent ability, do not appear to give a monkeys. Have also been following Slough for over 20 years, but looking forwards.

Agreed Grandad, and in my opinion certain players last season who i would say had decent ability

werent doing the business, for whatever reason, lets hope Steve Bateman can motivate them to

better things this coming season!

I would welcome the use of English on this forum, as it looks like most anons find it hard to string a sentence together!

 

We need to look forward, not backwards, and those ex-players/ ex-managers posting as anons were the reason why the club slipped down the leauges!
