I remember e-mailing Tony to say that one of our cup games had been changed to a Sunday afternoon. With everything going on in his world, he took the time to thank me for the information. Never spoke to the guy but a legend of non league football. His efforts will be missed.

 

Condolences to his family.

Good article about a legend.

 

As an ex-pat living 12,000 miles away, Tony's website was my bible for all things to do with the English game. You didn't have to undertake numerous web searches - all the information was there on one site.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where one might get anything approaching the amount of information that Tony's site had?
