Catholic United came up from the Southend Borough Combination League, after finishing 3rd in the Premier, I think. Obviously, as the name suggests, they were originally formed by, and consisted of, players who were only of catholic religion.

 

Nowadays thats not the case (although a few are), but they have some decent players. A couple are quality (played, and did well, for Gt Wakering a couple of seasons back). But they all just love playing with their mates now and of course getting p!ssed rather after the game, rather than playing a decent standard.

 

Mean it Mick (remember him?) actually plays for them too!
