Yes, it's dissapointing, but not a bad as if he had joined then sat out a large part of the season unfit or not up to the standard needed. My interpretation is that it was our insistance on a Medical that was the deal breaker? After last season the last thing we want is another load of sick-notes.

I think that when a player is not keen on having a medical, you may wonder if he may not be as fit as he should or is making out...
