I have a feeling this is a pretty important/significant meeting.

 

I wish more notice had been provided.

 

Whilst the shareholders meeting was well publicised and i am sure necessarily documented, i am not aware of a post shareholders open meeting being notified previously -possibly i just missed it ,but don't think i did

 

Is'nt this the first official notification of this from the club re:an open meeting ?

24 hours notice !!

 

I know there was a forum posting from MISA yesterday saying that it was a MISA AGM and 'open to all' but unless i misinterpreted it, it did not suggest at that time that officials from MFC would also be in attendance.

 

Sounds like an excuse, but notwithstanding the distance, i would have endeavoured to have attended on this occasion with more notice;as i have a feeling it will be a pretty significant/crunch meeting;so do hope many of you locals can attend.

 

The main thing though is that there is ok news emanating from it.

 

I'd love great news, but 'just ok' news would suffice for me.

In fairness to MISA, I have known about this meeting for ages. Unfortunately due to a prior commitment I simply cannot make it so my apologies for non attendance.

First news of the fans meeting was included with the retained player list back on 18th May, Michael. This is (as promised then)confirmation of the details.

You are correct-although my interpretation was a bit different:

 

'follow the meeting with a fans forum-details of which will be given at a later date'

 

So-can't argue with that;albeit my interpretation was that it would not necessarily be 'followed' immediately after the shareholders meeting ;and that a a further announcement of date and time would be made.

 

Concede that i read it wrong however-silly me-and just a bit disappointed as i was going to try and make this one-thinking it would be in a couple of weeks time.

 

Main thing is though, that lots do attend this time and its a good meeting.

 

Hope it is only me who dumbly interpreted it incorrectly and that lots others do go.
