Here is a review of the Jimbob album:

Goodnight Jimbob

Jack'n'Meg aren't the first unlikely twosome to chalk up a number one album, y'know. Back in the early 90's Carter USM were there, too.

Obviously such highlights are long gone for Carter's Jimbob. These days he releases albums on a bedsit budget with sounds to match, as he artlessly tackles overblown gallic pop, cheap rock and pointless country and western. Basically it's the same mix of crude sampling, lame puns and peachy politics he's always peddled, and anyone who's still an unashamed Carter fan will love it. As for the rest of us? Well, as he notes on "Cruel", us humans can be rather nasty.

 

Lead singer of Placebo, Shane Riche and the ShaneMcGowen from the Pouges spotted at the Jimbob gigs this week it seems. And Starsalior bit they got the hump when jim took the piss out of them! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Apparently the above "celebs" were in fact just people who looked like them.

 

One of the Jim people managed to get hold of the mobile number of the fellow from the NME who did that review and tonight they are dishing it out on flyers with that review, so abuse can follow!
