Joe Mitchell takes over at Beaconsfield

Beaconsfield have today announced the appointment of Joe Mitchell as their new manager.

 

An interesting appointment, but no doubt that he has done very well at AFC Hayes working with no budget.

No doubt that Beaconsfield will become the new AFC Hayes and a force to be recconed with in the midlands league.

Yeah, i'd imagine Dean Clark et al on the way there... Now he's got a budget to work with my even come in for DJ and Fents.

Not sure how Beaconsfields budget compares to ours but would DJ and Fenton really want to go back to playing in front of 50 to 70 supporters on a good day?

Surely the answer to that one depends on if they are part of the bigger picture for next season. I for one would not mind having both of them still here, but they are not the manager's own picks. Playing in front of 50/70 people or not playing at all, easy choice to make.

i would have thought that the majority of AFC Hayes would certainly go beaconsfield to at least see what its like pre-season etc and obviously people like Jordan could well be tempted again as he did extremely well for AFC Hayes when he was there, they seemed to get the best out of him so if the money is right then u never know i guess, and as for the supporters, well he played the whole season and scored 20+ goals in front of 10 supporters week in week out so dont see that as being a problem, he may even get slightly nervous playing in fron of a huge crowd of 50!
