I find it hard to believe that we have 12 potential buyers, furthermore that they would come on the forum, I would suggest that they would carry out due dilligence on the company and look through the books and accounts etc..., even if they did come on the forum why would a handfull of suggestions in helping the club scare a potential buyer off.

what a potential buyer will make of this thread is anybody's guess. i honestly don't think petty point scoring on this forum at this time is doing any good for anyone.

 

the priority at the moment in my opinion should be offering support to whoever takes on the custodianship of the club and getting behind them. whatever renovation work is needed can wait until the unveiling of the new person or persons, as can the preference of beer (although both coors light and adnams broadside are excellent shouts).

 

if this thread is about helpful suggestions, then all i can ask is that the flow of information is...well, flowing in future. that might help stave off the apathy that endless convoluted chinese whispers seems to be having at the moment.

Of course we will be behind the new owners and certain parties interested in the club know that.But while genuine information is,lets say thin on the ground at the moment,it does no harm to speculate or come up with ideas on how the club can move forward,after all the new owenrs whoever they may be may well like some of the ideas (they may hate them as well) but if the supporters are putting ideas forward it shows they have an interest in the club that other clubs fans may lack.
