I agree jane...rob is rampaging across the forums having a go at anyone and everyone.....if members don't like the shout box don't go on it but I will say this...the forums have hit an all time low since rob took control of them as a GM....his latest thread a message from the fans on the Hx forum says it all for me...15 minutes of fame that should get rid of at least a dozen prospective buyers...grin

 

as for me....little involvement and couldn't care less either way about the shoutbox...shame to see the trolls winning on the forums tho' but thats Ian's problem not mine...its all subjective and things change and we all move on...I shall continue as a member here and support the ethos of the forums more for Ian than anything else but sadly the personal abuse is back and regardless of who thinks what about the sometime extreme past moderation of the forum...personal abuse was never accepted...nor should it have been...(except in zody's case of course) grin

 

anyway I am getting my 60's kit out for the storming of the citadel...grin

With regards to personal abuse unc,do you think calling zody a cripple the other day is above board.

And as for moderating the forums,ours has always gone quiet in the summer and the present situation of which you have a hand in.At least now people are free to express their views without being scared of being shot down by you and your amazing vocabulary.

At least now the supporters may have a say in how the club is run,something that should of happened in the football club after 2004's little episode,when we were told the club would no longer be in debt.

Unc,i am not a GM.just a moderator on the hornchurch forum and the birdwatching one.

Trust me,ian wouldn't have me as a GM and i would not want to do it.I know others who would jump at the chance though,shame they couldn't keep their log ins to themselves wink

I gotta say Rob since the new found feedom of speech has hit the forums, the quality of your wit has improved.

I must say although we are in the quite season, the posts are an interesting read.
