Gate wait almost over

What amuses me is that the club were told several weeks ago what division we will be playing in but were not allowed to announce it. Then, when Tuesday came, we were told that we would have to wait to Friday as there were appeals. It appears that both appeals were turned down yesterday and the official announcement is today. As it was obviously a forgone conclusion what was the point of the appeals!!

Excepting that we were not the only club affected.

What if the appeals had been accepted-and K Lynn do appear to have been harshly treated ?

What if Fisher had suddenly-as they suggested they would-found the funds ?

Even as it is-i am taking absolutely nothing for granted-and await official confimation of our league status.

You're right Michael. Not ony are there potential complications with appeals, the impact of somethoing happening to a club in Kent could affect someone in Yorkshire so the organisation needs to be right through the leagues and FA. Not only that, the club are bound by certain rules and they include certain announcements. We are trying to do do things by the book, it sems to me that some people (and I don't know what he's saying because I have him on ignore) including Sanderson, think they know better. Ah well.

Is it interesting that in fact-if this mornings reports are correct-Fisher have been accepted into the kent league for next season.

(if its Kent League premier-in fact- they have not 'dropped' that far down the pyramid ).

Thus, i guess margate reserves could play them in the cup .

Up the 'gate

Possible slight delay to announcement, pending confirmation by the FA and Isthmian Leagues.
